Interesting part at the ned : U.S. natural gas prices cannot be completely decoupled from the European gas prices, which surged again on Tuesday, as the market fears disruptions in the case of a Russian invasion of Ukraine. Prices in North America are weather dependant and the pace of LNG exports. Only latter will be inflenced by what is happening in Europe and elsewhere, and it is not just Russia's role in this but the low state of reserves in places like Japan and what the diversion to Europe of shipments mean for othe countries. Then Germany ( I cannot believe their sluggishness) are just talking of new ...more
