Well is the entire energy complex going to double .. well that's possible if prices improve but PNE ain't going anywhere until the entire energy world improves ... management is no better than anywhere else

Just shut up and buy all the worthless nat gas equity you want ... Aeco is depressed but should go the 5 / 6 bucks any day now . Dividend is going to 75 percent of FCF any day now .... FCF might be low but it's going up ten fold any day now .... and that management team , dont get me started they are the very best of the best . Give me a break
Comment by Skylar1 on Aug 15, 2024 7:34am
MrT2020 you are saying things about PNE that you said when the stock was $0.20 . We heard nothing from you as we moved  from $0.80 to $2.00 per share and now gas prices are down you're at it again . You missed the money run and looks like you will miss the next run . I ask again why are you here ?
Comment by MrT2020 on Aug 15, 2024 5:12pm
I did not miss no money run , I made lots on PNE and Ath . You had the US navy blow up Nordstream , you had the Russian pipelines into Europe shut down because of the Ukraine war . Nat gas to Europe set records and LNG prices set records . Those days are gone and not coming back ... PS Aeco is .60

Skylar: We both have been around PNE & BNE long enough to know that Chicken Little is nothing but a clanging symbol and a banging drum. Analysis is not his strong suit. He's best at yelling that "the sky is falling and the end of the world is coming." Here are the facts: 1) PNE was wise in hedging out significant volumes of Nat Gas so as to minimize the impact of what they saw ...more

Snowflake .... or is your name Phil .  Aeco is 60 cents  buy all the gas equity you want ...it will be cheap a long time
Comment by MrT2020 on Aug 20, 2024 9:48am
Hey Phil ,   AECO is 50 cents ! Storage is full ! And LNG is eating 13 bcf a day !  production is thru the roof and winter won't matter ,,, enjoy making NO Money !
Comment by MrT2020 on Aug 21, 2024 3:30am
Hey Snow bank or  aka No bank ,  Aeco is 35 cents . That seems low to me , but Pine Cliff isn't worried cause they have hedges on 40 percent of production.. the other 60 percent just well you know doesn't !!
Comment by snowshoedb on Aug 21, 2024 3:47pm
Mr Little: Commodities have cycles, to play them is about risk mitigation. Not risk elimination. You can't just turn wells on and off. You don't want to hire and fire based on weekly trends... You can't attract/keep talent if you don't support them... the staff of PNE is a great resource. If you haven't run a business and have never run the gauntlet of the business cycle ...more

So state how low you think PNE will go in this bottom odf the cycle?
Comment by snowshoedb on Aug 22, 2024 7:27am
I have no idea how low PNE or other gas stocks will go. What we do know is: 1) Nat Gas consumption is growing with AI and Data center growth. 2) Air Con load is growing at summers get hotter. Warm winters have less heating days hence demand declines. 3) Nat Gas production in US is growing as associated gas on oil wells continuous to grow. Older fields become more gassy with passage of time 4 ...more

The bulk of my portfolio has been heavily weighted in gold stocks since 2022. WDO, LGC, THX, CXB and RUP. my largest holdings are WDO and LGC. Buy low and sell high. I hope my timing is good here.
Comment by TheRexmember on Aug 24, 2024 3:08pm
Kavern this IS the bottom of the cycle. Hedges are offsetting poor prices right now.  PNE sells into Saskatchewan and Montana at a premium to AECO and they have a large hedge position.  plus or minus a nickel doesn't really matter on the share price. One cold snap or announcement of commercial production at LNG cda will move the price needle.  Wabamun has a huge turbine ...more

I wish Rex...botton is in when people are crying on the streets...ie Novemeber banking reviews done and reserve reports for 2024 are released....forward curve is going to hammer every company. And storage world wide is worse than last year. Hurricane is only thing can save pain unfortunately.
Comment by MrT2020 on Aug 27, 2024 8:34am
The bottom is near to stay . The forward curve , the inventory's , the actual production numbers are grotesque. Pricing hasn't vertually collapsed it is close to zero and will stay there .  someone tell me how Aeco gets back above zero , then tell me how it gets to 3.00 .
Comment by snowshoedb on Aug 27, 2024 5:09pm
Easy... Curtailed Production.
Comment by MrT2020 on Sep 18, 2024 11:47am
Easy ? Just pump less and drill less . Aeco is 50 cents and production and rigs don't care . Interesting times
Comment by kavern23 on Sep 20, 2024 12:50pm
aeco is actually 25 cents and not 50 cents now. How PNE is paying a divy?
Comment by MrT2020 on Sep 20, 2024 7:04pm
Yes I just saw Aeco at .25 . Soon the rollovers and fire sales will start . Dividends are meaningless now . ReMember the old days of up to 75 percent of free cash flow for investors .... those days are over .
Comment by TheRexmember on Sep 20, 2024 8:11pm
Your lack of knowledge is astounding. Why troll with pointless comments? how did they pay it last quarter? Magic?   liquids, hedges, selling into two other markets, reducied spending, 3rd party gas processing.
Comment by MrT2020 on Sep 21, 2024 11:52am
Aeco at .25 cents is pointless , no profit is pointless , and I will troll whatever I want PHIL .

https://boereport.com/2024/09/23/canadian-natural-gas-prices-fall-to-two-year-low-as-storage-fills/amp/   sounds like bottom to me. But that doesn't mean it will jump up any time soon. A warm winter will weaken balance sheets.  it's a good time to try and figure out who can ride out the storm… If the weather stays warm, and there is no significant change in the amount of ...more

4 cents !
Comment by kavern23 on Sep 28, 2024 2:44pm
4 cents and 220 rigs unracked and drilling in western canada. I don't get why more NG isnst getting shipped to USA. Pipe for 8 bcf a day easy to USA yet Canadad has been only exporting 5.9-6.2 ish per day in Sept. Unless bottlenecks to USa storage faculties.
Comment by TheRexmember on Oct 14, 2024 7:40pm
Good question although where you get exact data from these days is tricky.  might have something to do with aggressive pipeline tolls or take or pay contracts?  currency differential should psy for shipping - as of today anyway.
Comment by MrT2020 on Oct 30, 2024 5:52pm
88 cents and still no buyers !
Comment by MrT2020 on Nov 04, 2024 1:19pm
Still no buyers ! Gas storage is full , Production is maxed out , and well valuations are going down . wait on buying , do not buy yet !
Comment by snowshoedb on Aug 21, 2024 3:38pm
Mr Little: Some of you statments about the current market are exagerated. But I agree that storage is likely going to get full... not more than Full. When it is Full AECO will go to Zero or negative. You will be out there clucking away and letting everyone know that the sky is falling. Nat Gas companies will be in the tank and prices will be dramatically depressed. Skylar et al will continue to ...more

I enjoyed your post. I don't think that storage will completely fill this year but the market does seem to disagree with me.  a lot of gas drilling has been to ensure supply exists for LNG Canada start up. Shame about the mismatched dates.
Comment by HedgieTdot on Aug 13, 2024 12:40pm
My favourite part about PNE is you get to pay $2.6mm a quarter G&A for them to invest $1.0m in oil and gas activities this quarter.
Comment by TheRexmember on Aug 15, 2024 12:34am
Might have something to do with a few thousand wells, multiple gas plants, 3 pipeline export points, operating a public company, completing about 20 acquisitions, regulatory filings and the usual due diligence. But hey maybe you can find someone on stockhouse to volunteer who would be just amazing...

With a dividend of $0.005, this stock is going to $0.60, not double.
