For me, this is not a great deal at this time. POU  in a Tax free savings account, therefore not taxable. If the stock drops the amount of the special dividend in my holdings remain the same ...more

Yes the share price will adjust by $15.. but only $3 of it will be taxable..  the $12 is ROC thus lowering your acb.. now if you were fortunate enough to pick up shares and held on prior to mid ...more

Agreed. Very small group of investors that can take advantage of the tax arb. The price will adjust down by $15 because the TSX market maker will make that adjustment on the dividend pay date ...more
