Paramount maybe takes a run at Nuvista??

Nuttall subtly mentions he bought a couple million more shares of NVA the other day and that he thinks he may be the second largest shareholder now behind POU.

Then suggests POU may potentially take a run on NVA for a premium.

POU owns 17% and Nuttall at rought 10%, I am sure he would hand then over for a premium.

Interesting!

HP, you floated this idea a lot last year, any thoughts on it now?

WCP took over TORC, and ARC took over VII. POU and NVA would make a helluva Montney company!!

Not a chance. If anything transpires between nva and pou, it will be a for an asset they jointly own.

They jointly own an asset together now?

Yes.

Which asset?

My question too. I know nothing of a shared asset between the two companies. Raymond, you could be a lillte more specific than just "yes".

I guess honeypot bailed on his beloved POU, and moved his money and posting time into that useless ARX hoping for it to go up. ARX is going nowhere in a hurry until a few quarters of proof they know what they are doing. Meanwhile, POU is poised for its next leg up, and we need him here with all his knowledge on the company. HP, it was a gamble but ARX is a mess, get out before you waste months in ...more

Why is ARX useless?  Even though I was somone who was definitely not in favor of that merger (acquisition), the new ARX is a strong company with an excellent balance sheet and fantastic assets.  The number one issue with ARX is their culture but hopefully with many of the VII folks going over, there may be a shift in time. End of the day though, both POU and ARX are strong companies, I ...more

It may produce more cf per share than pou, or it may not. But I bet dollars to donuts Pou share price increases a greater percentage from here. Let alone how much more massively it already has compared to arx/vii year to date. As an investor looking for captial gains, i am more interested in share price, not cash flow.
