Anemic volume today. The shorters/sellers out paced the buyers. Who will feel joy?

I do agree, to some extent, Rookie. The loss of both MHP and Raymondjames thoughts and input, only a few apart and removed, is definitely disappointing. Nonetheless , their absence will not influence POU's value. I am cautiously optimistic that POU should achieve a value of $45 to $50 in 12 months time. My rationale assumes WTI will appreciate to $100+ late this year and hold this (lower ...more

I also suspect those reading this board appreciated MHP's posts, as they were mostly a summary of POU's potential, future avenues, probable courses of action, etc. I also suspect others reading this board, for whatever reason, did not appreciate Raymondjames's posts vis a vis, how POU's value has contributed to one's wealth. I think we all want a return on our investment and ...more

Your point regarding RJs propensity towards gloating is well received, though I also agree with his take on "owning" a company. That said, beating people over the head with unproven successes is a tad tedious.

Love the criticism. Good luck boys. When the boat is a rocking don't come a knocking.

Not sure what boats have to do with anything but you have to admit that you enjoy "dishing it out", I'm not sure why got so upset when others and returned the sentiment. I still agree with your idea of being an owner and continue to see the value, especially given the dividend. I still see the value and I'm waiting on septembe and the end of the SPR distributions to see what ...more

Well said Rookie.

Hello Raymondjames. If you read my post thoroughly, I do say there may some that don't appreciate your revealing of wealth, as created by POU, for whatever reason. I have always looked forward to your insightful posts and recommendations. I have no issue(s) with the generational wealth you have realized and have never critiqued same, ever. I am most happy when any investor has realized profits ...more

Vince/ Rookie - let me quote the straw that broke the camels back. "Gloating" and "unproven successes".  I get no benefit being on this posting board ..none.  There really isnt one  thing that someone else has posted that actually materialized to my benefit over the last 2 years. I can dish better than most but if the true pou believers say what I'm saying in ...more

"Aka for kick me in the teeth in August and don't then ask for advice"   It takes a really big head to think I was referring to you RJ, I asked for useful input, not the musings of a thin-skinned keyboard champ who believes things revolve around them.  If you're going to leave, leave and quit coming back to whinge and whine. Go back to your five boats and $200 ...more

Wrong call rookie. Now you know why I left in august. You lost input from a person who can actually affect the share price. Good luck to those who actually found it useful when I said I was buying.

hahahahahahaa Here comes another Eric Nuttal  who can move the Pou stock price yea sure move it back to 30 by Friday

Raymondjames, the effectiveness of any one individual or entity on any equity is, at best, transitory. I do not recall you ever recommending to sell. If you should post again, I'm hoping it is with rational thought(s).
Comment by Vince64 on Sep 30, 2022 5:14pm
I disagree Raymondjames, I did know someone who could suck and blow, back in 2010. I didn't think it possible but, I'm a believer.

Sad is holding O&G names, or names, for several years. It was fortuitous timing that WTI rose above $120 momentarily this year. I was able to exit these names, with a small profit, although I am sure if I crunch the figures, most likely a loss(es) as I financed most of the original cost to purchase.
Comment by RookieReturns on Aug 19, 2022 10:06pm
So Vince, what you're essentially saying is your bitter because you made some badly timed purchases? That's hardly a "name" or "O&G" issue, that's a poor research issue, isn't it?
Comment by Vince64 on Aug 20, 2022 7:02pm
I am far from bitter. As I said in my post, I was fortunate to exit several O&G names with a slight profit after several years of holding on. You are correct, in hindsight, it was poor research on my part. I was attempting to time the oil market. I was fortunate buying in relativity close to the bottom of these names. I'm not looking back. I'm holding POU, NVA and MEG. POU being my ...more
