Wild fires Information

My gut tells me this is maybe Kaybob and Wapiti shut down, but am not sure. I heard rain is helping a bit with the fire fight.

HP, Thanks for the info. What are your thoughts on the ramifications of this interruption in supply? It would seem that if this persists to any great extent that earnings will suffer. And, of course that could have an effect on the newly instituted dividend policy. Of course if the SP goes down, it could present a buying opportunity, assuming these fires don't cause even further disruption. I ...more

HP, Looks as if your gut was correct. You were right on the money. Things appear almost back to normal. In spite of the enormity of the problem, it could turn out to be a relatively minor setback for Paramount. Nice that they are forthcoming with the updates, and on a timely basis. We are still dealing with the haze from the fires north of Boston. Quite something.
