What is happening?

How exactly are we performing worse - even with the spike in oil and natural gaz prices this week?!

all other names have atleast put on 5% to their share price in the past week- and we are worse off?

what is holding this name back - especially with no debt, rising oil/gaz prices, and significant growth in 2024 too.

Any thoughts to why our stock performance is weak vs our peers- is appreciated! especially given the catalysts this week and ahead.

I'm starting to wonder it is partially to do with the diversity of Paramount's holdings? The NVA shares are nice but they can't be liquidated quickly and (IMHO) unless used as leverage for a takeover there is little that can be done with those shares but look at them. There is no dividend paid, and they do not generate cash flow. I also wonder if investors aren't a bit sceptical ...more

This is just getting ridiculous.

Can't look at it that way. Today National Bank decided to sell 280000 shares iceberg at $30.15.  I was buying whatever I could  at that price as it is cheap. But I thank National Bank for being a seller. Interesting options action on November $23, $25 and $26. Someone betting this goes materially higher after National is done.  Guys make moves which most retail investors don' ...more

A large block of shares have been unloaded over the past few days, i am not sure if it is done but it must be close to being done.  POU should have a decent Quarter, and the new wells have all been home runs.  IMHO

It does make one wonder why that large block of shares is being sold.

As long as you know what you own, the motivation for the sale of 280000 doesn't really matter. Divorce. Taxes. Margin call. Don't like the company - debt free, 1b loc, leon Cooperman major shareholder, 600m in public securities etc etc. As I said Friday, thank the shareholder of that block for selling.

I guess National selling 280000 at $30.15 looks bad based on a very short-term basis (30.75 today).
