1.5 Billion and not Issue a single share...
This is a difficult place that POU is finding itself in, dont forget they are spending 150 million on Willesden Green gas plant for 2024 Capex.
Pou could easily sell that gas plant to a Mid Streamer (Topaz?) because the economics of Wilesden Green are so strong and skewd towards liquids all i am saying is there is more cash available, there is just more cash sitting around then POU currently needs.
So 450 million in NVA shares, plus other investment, Plus a billion dollar line, means POU could make a 1.5 billion dollar acquisition, without issuing a single share.
Production set to jump towards the end of the year, and they have Wapiti filled and are drilling wells for 2025 Wilesden Green new gas plant start up and immediate fill.
POU is a power house but it is very hard to find something accretive, when you already know they you will be producing a lot of oil and liquids from Wilesden Green in 2025.
IMHO

Honeypot is correct that pou is in a good spot. Don't anticipate pou adding debt to acquire anything unless it is just a bargain. The reality is that JR and family are not looking for a quick pop in share price as they aren't selling shares. Good business. Good cash flow. Little debt. Steady wins the race.
