$3.325 billion in cash plus certain Horn River Basin prop

3.325 billion 146.9 million share = approx 22.63 a share in cash.

Ovintiv Inc are a bigger company and these assets likely could be optimized in their hands.

POU is collecting Horn River + Liard assets + Woodside Partnership.

POU collecting these assets bode well for LNG futures, and they can partner with a company that wants to construct and LNG plant and have a stable low cost supply of endless dry gas. Very cheap gas especially if there is a port up there. (Long term strategy)

Getting rid of Zama is a big improvement to ARO and will improve the cost structure of POU going forward reducing their ARO.

Another Home run, and with more than 560 million in strategic assets on the balance sheet add another $3.80 a share.

With the sale that accounts for $26.44  and doesn't account for the any value given their current plays and 40,000 boe/day liquids rich production, plus their biggest asset Jim Riddel and his drive to create share holder value. Cavalier Land has no value assigned and many heavy oil opportunities.

3 Billion in Cash on the balance provides a lot of optionality.

The stock is simply to cheap.
