MyHoneyPot, IMO, there isn't a chance of that happening, that's not in their makeup. Instead, I think Brookfield would be completely focused getting PPL to purchase the Heartland Complex and some of the other components at an inflated price and at the same time try to retrieve some of the $350 million breakup fee that they incurred.

Doubt it. If Brookfield buys too many pipeline companies, it might be seen as anticompetitive and blocked. Nevertheless, Brookfield issued recently. They are probably looking to acquire something with the money raised. I just hope they don't buy anything I'm in. The usual reasons.

Uhm .. BIPC just went to market with a billion more in shares ... they are buying something, but it won't be their own shares
