Just returning to possibly take a position in PPL - ex dividend is 24th - so one day too early for selling after dividend record. 

Is there much of a history of stock dropping post ex date?  some volitilty with oil dropping these last days and just trying to see if I should wait a bit before scooping some shares.

haven't looked at pipes in a long while and just looking to return

Has not normally dropped much after on x date but i would not count on that when it goes quarterly. Enbridge normally gets hammered. GLTA
