Thought PPL shareholders might be interested in the news, as many bought PPL after IPL bought out  by bipc

Thank you for posting this article mrbb. This is going to be an even bigger money maker than originally perceived and another disappointing factor is that PPL cancelled their proposed construction of a plant and then didn't buy out IPL whose plant was getting close to completion.

Not so fast re profitable. original thought was cheap cheap natural gas a feed stock well you know what is happening , at least for the moment

i believe IPL had signed long term contract on propane as well as plastic pellet buyers IE, IPL would have steady buyers for the polyP pellet and extra cheap propane to sell to or make plastic into the spot market

First, IPL is wholly owned by Brookfield. Secondly, once the hostile takeover is complete, it is hard to say what that would result in some of the contract signed by IPL, prior to it. As we all heard, the DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS. Looking at the price of BIPC shares, it does not reflect any bonanza.
