I wonder if the lack of news on drilling has anything to do with the sale of the Monarch assets. Yesterday's release could be interesting down the road but certainly was not put out to generate short term excitement. 

Maybe they put in some lowball offers and are now negotiating with the attorneys. The Monarch release indicated a goal of selling the assets by February 27th.  If you had good results near the property you were trying to buy you might want to keep that quiet while negotiating.  

total speculation on my part. But if they could pick up some more promising property on the cheap it might make sense. 

Dave wants to get the resource to 10 million ounces before selling. If he does that it will have been well worth our patience.

It's gonna have to sell for quite a big price for share to be worth the patience for those of us who have been in for the entire 8-9ish years.  It would have to sell for at least 5 bucks (US- PROBF) to convince me that it was even remotely worth the risk.  To be fair, I added to my position at the worst possible time so that's on me, but just in terms of time I cannot believe

I do like this theory but I abosutely have zero faith in this leadership or marketing team. They have not put out anything exciting in well over a year. Zero interest from retail or institutional buyers and while we give them credit for being calculated, I think they are just really bad at their jobs. It's a shame because the project seems like a unicorn but this becoming unbearable.

I was around for the first buyot and was able to buy a lot of the new company shares at much lower prices.  Was not expecting it to take this long, but I have trust in Dave and if we have to play the long game for much greater upside I am okay.  Rather have one of best geologists in the world than one of he best marketers........that said better marketing would not dissapoint me. Probe Gold's current director Renaud Adams was a former director of  Monarch Mining until the end of March 2023. If Probe is interested in any of the land packages for  sale from Monarch, Adams could be very helpful. By purchasing the Croinor property I'm sure that was  the cherry on the cake. Yes I agree that Probe maybe interested in some of the  parts but
