Can O3 mining and Cartier Resources be taken out  by a "private equity " style transaction? A Royalty and streaming company may provide the cash for the transaction by using these companies  gold resources. This form of capital is non dilutive with no debt  obligations to Probe Gold. The advantage of this transaction would give Probe a Tier 1 asset in one of the ...more

Most majors don't like to deal with an NSR after a purchase ... but it is a good thought.   3% NSR for 40,000,000 can be purchased back before the end of 2025 for 60,000,000. no dilution and the purchaser is on the hook to either pay the 60 or stay with a 3% NSR. non dilutive !  hoping for a reasonable 2024 buyout ?  GLTA

In terms of a buyout Probe is in a great position. As a shareholder I look at the NPV / share of about $11 at the current gold . Producers on the other hand look at this metric  very closely. If I (the producer) where to acquire Probe, and  according to the PEA must fork out $600m in Capex, how long will it take to get my money back? At the base case ( $1750 gold) as laid out in ...more

Well Capex is all the equipment involved.  I suspect some of the majors have decent quality equipment that just needs a new home.  Ball mills etc... trucks, mining equipment anything that can be dismantled and shipped .... maybe a AEM or someone with spare capacity Eldorado ... a couple of thoughts ... having haul trucks, and other equipment simply reduces CAPEX if indeed they are ...more
