Volume?

Are we being set up for a low-ball offer?
Comment by biotechguy1 on Jul 12, 2024 12:29pm
Wouldnt be surprised ... ! 4 is not achievable without a permit !

Probe set itself up for that scenario if it happens.  They have done absolutely nothing to build a strong retail or institutional investor base to protect against it; and honestly at this point it's hard to care because the time it will take for them to accomplish a reasonable buyout is already well passed expired in my opinion.  This has gone on way too long to still be at .90/share ...more

We could see a 2 dollar move in 2 years.
Comment by wm23four on Jul 12, 2024 1:35pm
Well, if bo offer does happen soon, some of the more recognized potential suitors are well positioned to make a move.  Elg is near 52 week highs and Agnico eagle at 52 week highs.  Agnico today roughly up 50 per cent from 3 months ago.  If gold maintains 2400 or even higher anything can happen.  Eld already owns approximately 15 m shares.  At these fire sale prices who ...more

Same, I have always thought it's a good project ...and  felt it would go for about what Borden went for but the grade is lower.  Dave P has navigated well !  All 3,deposits are expandable in time. The race is on .... price of gold versus expansion versus permitting .... see who wins !    GLTA

I would add that while a e m is up 50% in last 3 months,  prb goes from high around 1.68 to as low as 1.14 in same period.  Imo i agree this may unfortunately be setting stage for potential low ball offer.  Historicallly, Prb mgmt is not concerned with day to day s p fluctuations.  Maybe they should.

BOD and management should be interested in the  SP of Probe. all their stock options (approx 9.2 million options)for the  last five years is underwater.. Are they going for the gold without making money?
Comment by mtzorfas on Jul 12, 2024 3:04pm
They are operating in another universe with a mindset that worked in a time long past.  20+ years ago, in a relatively functional market, you could build a great asset and get value back for it within a reasonable time frame and achieve good results for the shareholders.  The current M&A market requires not just good geologists, but great business/marketing people who understand the ...more

Are you implying that Team Palmer must be fiired by  the BOD?
Comment by mtzorfas on Jul 12, 2024 3:36pm
I'm not implying anything.  I'm outright stating that this old school approach is leading to disappointing results for shareholders, particularly those that have been here since the beginning and bought in along the way.  Firing good geologists doesn't solve the problem.  Hiring good marketers, market strategists and other business consults would, but I'm not an ...more

Doesn't the CEO hire good managers/ marketers/ consultants ? He is obviously very happy with the current situation

All the boo birds on such a positive day.  Up significantly on over 3 million shares traded!!  We added a fair number the last few days and feel great about it.  I have to look at the dip as a gift. Strongly believe patience will be rewarded.  Might get stolen at $3 but I have confidence the team is prepared to fend off a silly offer.  AEM is printing money right now and ...more

Nothing wrong with having a honest conversation and  opinions , so the stock should be repriced to at least US$75 per  ounce. This is only 3% of the current gold price. I 'm now drinking a fine wine. Cheers to a fine project and today's stock price action!
Comment by biotechguy1 on Jul 13, 2024 5:40pm
$75 an ounce ... roughly 8 million ounce is 600,000,000 dollars ? 3 bucks a share.
Comment by Rosehill1 on Jul 12, 2024 6:44pm
During the early years at Probe gold the previous IR lady told me many times that Probe would not do as well as Probe Mines. She often mentioned $2.50 to $3 per share as the the selling price. Never gave me a reason why but was adamant the final rice would be in that range. I ignored her comments and stayed loyal to Dave and the gang. It does concern me a little know that we can't seem to get ...more

I agree with your comment about the old  boys network. That's how things will work  out
Comment by Goodluck395 on Jul 12, 2024 2:51pm
From a bidder's perspective  Who wouldn't want to purchase Probe  at US$25/ ounce with about IMO about 200 000m of drill results for inclusion of the upcoming PEA. It's a royal feast for the acquirer .
