I share your scepticism regarding sanduf.  It would be highly unusual, even unethical, for a participant in a clinical trial to be told who the trial was for.  Maybe he figured it out by himself.  Maybe he was in the placebo arm. lol, jb

The only thing they would not know is if they received PRX302 or the Placebo. You are participating in a clinical trial and they need to provide full disclosure. Your not just going to let them shoot something into you unless you have some idea of what it is and what the risks are. If they didn't tell you the name then how many BPH treatments are out there where they are injected directly into

All Information was up front so that permission could be given for injection. It is a double blind test so no one locally knows whether it was serum or placebo which was used. After 10+ years of discomfort etc. and using Flomax for some relief I can affirm a major improvement. Within two months there was a dramatic change for the better and it is still improving in most areas. If what I received

I  was not informed of the numerical values by the technician. Just know that my answers went from unsatisfactory lifestyle to very satisfactory. Same on the sexual function side.

Interesting, Glad you feel better...Could you give us a brief summary of when you went in for the procedure, your last visit or follow-up. what they asked you etc etc etc.much appreciated.

The injection was done in Apr/09 after a complete physical including measurement of the prostate gland to determine whether or not I was a suitable test subject.Each IPSS questionaire has been the same re: Incomplete Emptying of Bladder; Frequency; Intermittency; Urgency; Weak Stream; Straining; Nocturia; Quality of life.Last  follow up in Oct/09 included measure of prostate, blood work
