Take a Holiday from Argumentum ad Hominem
I hold shares in Pen West and over the past half year I have checked on this bullboard about once a month to see if there is any informantion worth reading...unfortunately, without fail, all I can read about is argumentum ad hominem. Maybe that is the intent of most of the posters--if so, they are very successful at their trade of driving others away. I have seen many Stockhouse bullboards that are worthy of reading--too bad this isn't one of them. I only take the time this one time only to say how silly it all sounds when one takes two steps back and reads it all.
Wouldn't it be refreshing to have a one day holiday from all the personal attacks and just have posters on that one day post constructive criticism on the issues as opposed to all the comments being about the deliverer of the message? One can alway dream.
