Acquisition Target?...

Anyone else think PXT.to could be an acquisition target w/ very high free cash flow %?  Certainly out-performing today.  House 77 (Peters) has been accumulating for months... unless that's who is performing share buyback program.

Yes--makes sense.  I think last time Mr. Nuttall was on BNN, he thought similarly, using Vermillion as an example of a company that could use a high-cash-flow component.

Just went back and checked the latest presentation: PowerPoint Presentation (parexresources.com)   $3 per share on hand and a fair amount of 'optionality' on the next slide they say M&A is "an option, not a requirement" for Parex. Curious to see how that plays out, perhaps they're a buyer not a seller, who knows. They do say any M&A would have to offer ...more

I have held this stock in the past but find once it gets over 20 bucks it seems to run out of steam. It has had a nice bounce lately but again once it gets over 20 it just stalls...even when oil continues to climb. I cant help but think that it becomes a sell for traders over 20 which really isnt fair as the company on paper is one of the better ones out there..but then again hard to fight a stock ...more

PXT is already an acquisition target...by PXT through the buyback program that retires 10% of the stock annually.  Best deal for us investors because we still have the same experienced and prudent management running the company and the same high quality profitable assets.
