Don't believe the cartoons peddled by politicians. All successful modern democracies are socialist, the same as they are all capitalist as well. I've seen a lot of comments like this on boards and letters to the editors sections, noting that our soldiers died to protect our freedoms while today governments are denying us those same freedoms with their COVID-19 restrictions.  The writers of these letters decry these measures as the opposite of what those brave soldiers stood for.  But those writers ignore a very important
