Why The Disconnect?

Logic would suggest that HPQ’s run today would drag PYR up with it instead of opposite directions. Mind you, logic has played no part in PYR’s stock price for sometime now.

i see this as an opporunity. I sold a lot of HPQ to buy back some pyr. it does not make any sense or investors do not understand that it is PYR tech

THINK. If HPQ did not go up, then PYR would have dropped instead of staying flat for the day.

Today's HPQ rise was not the result of HPQ news. Something is going on in the battery minerals space. The whole battery minerals sector was flying today. Graphite, cobalt, lithium, all were way up. Rumour has it something related to China (world's largest graphite producer), and some potential regulation changes that have yet to be revealed. Because HPQ wasn't higher on HPQ news, and

Sometimes it is nothing more than just momentum trading. NR puts it on the screen and then anything can happen. I dont think HPQ is a known player in the battery industry because it is dealing with a material that is not yet accepted as a common material for batteries. That is what HPQ is about right now and still in the r and d phase. And for whatever reason, some investors still look for cheap

Try googling tesla silicon battery day. Then come back and tell us "they are dealing with a material that is not yet accepted as a common material for batteries" Everyone knows about silicon now. Everyone!

OK. So that is not the reason for the disconnect. But I assure you that majority of investors out there have not heard of HPQ and certainly do not know nearly as much as you or even I do, and there is a lot that we don't know. To my defence, as Bernard said recently, they had to educate the Quebec government that silicon belongs on the strategic battery materials list. Correct me if I am wrong
