PPP is puttting his own money/stock away for charitable purposes to give back to others and the community.... and the shorts are calling him crooked? What a bunch of idiotic shorts.

All the longs I have suggestion someone to contact PPP how donating to his charity by PYR share . I am very happy to contribute my part . Just my opinion, this is the best answer to show our support to him . FACTS WILL WIN

Keep the administration simple, I am sure any charity will gladly accept cash so just sell the amount of shares you wish to donate and send the cash. Easier for everyone. Cheers.

canyou I'm not sure if this is correct but if as you say just sell the shares and donate is not very tax wise. Just doing that would incur a tax issue for him  but the way he did it is donating shares in kind to his foundation which in turn will distribute will not cause a tax issue for him or the foundation and his in kind donation generates a tax deduction for him. If anyone can ...more

Harjay, my comment was directed at Raiders' call for donating to the foundation by other longs. Peter controls PYR by having just over 50% of shares. I do not think he would contribute 1% to a charity in a way that could come close to losing control of the company. I was thinking that Raiders was calling for simple charitable contribution to share some wealth. Hope that clarifies it.
