CEO selling

Simple question and of course not bashing.

Why doesn't Peter sell all his shares to the NCIB for cnacellation.
Then we wouldn't have this hoopla.

Of course I mean his 400,000 shares not all he owns

What's the issue, what's the "hoopla"? The filings are part of the regulatory system to provide shareholders some transparency. He intends to sell less than 1% of this holdings. Much ado about nothing. There are bigger things that it would nice to get a decent update from the company.

CEO or insider selling is always viewed negatively by the market even if it shouldn't be. What I am saying is that this was disclosed Thursday at 2:17PM and we didn't have anyt price negativity which is a GREAT SIGN.

So move on. Done. If this stock will be adversely affected by the CEO selling a small part of his holdings, then one should consider it even a riskier investment than it is. And note that he filed the intention to sell starting Jan 21st. He could sell all that day, or he could spread it out over time....his call but it is a reasonable assumption that he will try to do it in a way to maximize his ...more

Have you seen the stock REAL. CEO selling there and it has dropped like a rock because of it
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 16, 2021 11:21am
No, and I am not going to look into it to see if the stock went down because of that or whether investors' move to sell the stock based on that was sound or not. Sometimes selling is a bad sign, sometimes it is simply because a CEO wishes to raise some cash for whatever reason, most of the time none of our business. The system provides for some transparency, and it is up to investors to use ...more

Remember... he has the door wide open for viewing of the future(to some extent AND, company wise). We are left with the key hole to peak through and figure the rest out. Sell when you think the profit is rewarding. You know where bacon comes from. In the meantime all the best to Peter and team. Here waiting for another opportunity. Just me.

400k out of 77 million. Not even close to 1% of his shares. It's a non issue for any long that knows the story and have a feel for what Peter is all about. He is very deserving of whatever he decides to do with his shares. Pyrogenesis will have a banner year.

Wouldn't it be great if Peter was setting a shorter trap... despite my hope it was so, I would ever accuse him of such! But here is Peter giving official notice that he MAY sell 400k shares, perhaps knowing that shorters and bashers might go nuts with this news. Who knows what comes on the back of this. Does it give PYR an opportunity to exercise their newly filed NCIB buying shares when ...more

I'm laughing  little bit here because I thought the exact same thing when I first read about this. Could he be setting up a trap? Then I decided not to share my thoughts about it because people would think I'm nuts. Glad I'm not the only one that saw this crazy twist.

Yeah, this is pretty ridiculous. First, most stocks have some shorts. Is it a problem here? Second, if he wanted to plant some doubt, wouldn't he file for an amount that actually would look meaningful? Third, if he catered to the peanut gallery here and wanted to go after a few alleged shorters here, do you think that would be the kind of CEO that institutions and big money investors would ...more
