News released on the Feb 5th - The first Additive Manufacturing Strategy which includes joint cooperation with top level US gov. agencies. (maybe why Cathie is Keen on pyr)

The US Office of the Secretary of Defense Manufacturing Technology has released its first additive manufacturing (AM) strategy.

The strategy will reportedly focus on modernizing US defense systems to improve performance using AM-designed equipment, increasing material readiness to rapidly prototype and produce direct parts, reducing the risk of obsolete hardware, and enabling Warfighters to use AM on the battlefield."

Thanks for this.  Take a look at pg. 14, the use of 3D printers in a mobile setting is intriguing.  Also note that ARK Invest (Cathie Wood) believes that the global 3D printing market will scale at a compound annual rate of 60% during the next 5 years, from $12 billion to roughly $120 billion by 2025. PyroGenesis already has connections with the US Army and US Navy and Robert M. Radin ...more

good find - thanks for sharing. Now if only we can find an AM powders supplier who has a track record of successfully selling to the US DoD?
