Plasma arc furnace are not Electric arc furnaces
So casavantsghost you are right .
Still lkab is testing pyr s torches for a reason .
and i assume they (hybrit) will adopt them .i thought our torches were electric arc torches .sorry .
very crucial to know whether it is true because of the importance of the hybrit project and because of the similar
Goals we pursue .reduction of GHG s and use of electricity instead of oil in the process of pelletizing iron .
so mea culpa
i could have missed the ball completely .still hybrit project is an eye opener .we have to be part of it .so i hope we can be part of it even when we don t do electric arc furnaces like casavantsghost rightfully pointed out .
It would be better if you were wrong :)

As long as pyr gets a piece of the pie!! They want it fast! And pyr has it patented and ready to bolt in. The most beautiful about ours plasma furnaces! So assembling it is easy and fast!
