What's the difference between

walking it down and selling for profit expecting to buy back at a cheaper price? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Walking it down implies there is a concerted effort to actually push the share price down. Ie. manipulation through lowball bids at 1 share at a time (usually 1 share bids - sometimes for a few more shares at a time).  So what we're seeing lately are low volume pullbacks, mostly as a result of manipulators basically forcing the share price down through these 1 share bid and asks. Yes sir, exactly. There's far more room for manipulation when it is a low volume stock. Right now it's evident most shareholders are holding for news and there is less scrambling to buy on this dip here, so this further grants manipulators the room to force the price down.  So I would not be panicking. I remember this happening with PYR when it was stagnant/falling from $4 - $2.80ish ...more
