Wondered why carbon coating on nano silicon powder
The powder that was produced by Apollon solar in December for testing prior to HPQ doing it's own samples for delivery had a carbon coating. That was the first I heard of such combination, and I always wondered why. Well, if you look up GRAPHENE as an alternative to graphite for anode material in li-on batteries, you will see the potential there for HPQ formulation. I would call it the majic powder,.. no less!!!!

Yes, it is a curious combination. why carbon (graphite) on silicon nanoparticles. It should probably be graphite coated with silicon nanoparticles. Any thoughts on the logic of the process?
