Humor Me

Can someone tell me this.

With the multiple  opportunities that PYR has staked a position as being a big opportunity where PYR has the best tech, who other than PYR management has said that PYR has the best tech  in any of the industry segments that Peter keeps saying that PYR could dominate.

Looking back on PYR over the past several years it seems like it is mostly Peter who is making these claims. Then the posters on this board repeat it like it is fact.

How about this.  It is not that it is just a matter of time.  And, it is not that PYR has great tech but just needs to improve its marketing.  Rather the problem could be that PYR does not have a tech. edge over the competition like Peter suggests and/or there is just not the demand for PYR tech ... like Peter would have us believe.  And that Peter is fooling himself.

For Peter's legion of admirers please don't tell me that I am a basher (I am sure you will because that is what you do).   Humor me and tell me what credible and serious industry sources (other than PYR management) are as positive and giddy about PYR technology as Peter is.

To confirm that a big chunk of the backlog is the aircraft carrier business.  But this is a business that developed years ago.   Yes he has the big drosite contract, but we have NOT heard of ANY additional sales.  No updates on powder sales!!   Nevermind the military and the destruction of hazardous waste and the other areas that Peter held out as promising.

My fear is that Peter is a great salesman when it comes to retail investors but that is where it ends.  For those who are counting on and dreaming about PYR making them rich...what if I am right and this board is wrong.   Show me the facts showing me that my concern is misplaced.

Not that it matters as I really don't care what posters say about my post.  But, I have owned PYR since the days of Arcam.  I am guessing that my start with PYR preceeds a great number of the folks on this board.  And, PYR is my larges investment. Not because I invested a lot. Rather, by virtue of the fact that I have owned for so long.  I too dream about PYR making me rich.  It is my one "swing for the fences stock."  But at some pt. we all need to have a date in mind where we say that PYR is just not going to happen.  If you don't then I suggest you get someone else to manage your money.

developbc.  You did not make any effort to answer my question.   To the readers  on this board please note that developbc.  has apparently felt it is not worth his time to answer what is a legitimate question.  He did even comment on the question.  Or, he simply does not have an answer.  I suggest you all consider this when thinking about the ...more

Appolon Solar...... In the end, this is exactly what makes a market..... Like you, I am buying shares right now, so it is what it is. Cheers!

Aarman4.  Thank you for your response. I am not sure of the names you mentioned.  I will be doing some research on them.   The one is do know is Ark Investments.  My comment there would be that I believe that Ark owns PYR in a 3D fund that is supposed to reflect the 3D Industry.  I am not sure that it is necessarily a stamp of approval for PRY that Ark owns PRY as ...more

1. AP&C (GE Additives)is the DOMINANT supplier of Plasma Atomized Ti Powder....they use PYRs old tech 2. US Navy believes PYRs Waste Technogy is the best. 3. RISE is Sweden believes PYRs Plasma Torches are the best 4. They won by competitive bid, the largest Dross Recovery RFQ in recent history, so PYR Tech again, was the best.Is that enough or should I keep going? You said you've been a ...more

I would say that companies using PYR's tech have no obligation to shout from the rooftops "PYR IS ECONOMICALLY ADVANTAGEOUS TO US!!!" just to appease some whiny investors. Further, and as we've seen in many press releases - many of these companies actually prefer not to disclose their technology and partnerships for competitive reasons. This is commonplace when looking for any ...more

The answer to this is Cathie Wood. The biggest name on Wall Street. She invested in Pyro when they were an OTC stock. First and only time she's done that. Now the Motley Fool is recommending, they have a pretty good track record as well.

Kinda odd you're not familiar with those 2 names. They've only been mentioned on this forum about a thousand times.

I agree that it is time to look at more than the PR/hype.  And this is what the slowly declining stock price is telling us.  Listing on Nasdaq and TSX means that  more attention is placed on the viability of the business --- revenues from the business/earnings (not capital gains from stock holdings in HPQ).  Does anyone on this board know what the long term profitability of PYR ...more

I think the question and points made are quite valid. I am sure many have been wondering the same lately, I know I have been. It cerrtainly deserved a better respnose from one of the most active promoters.

My post is not intended to humor anyone in particular but am just content to know that there are doubters who are so worried about investing with PYR, which I might cry a river for them, NOT. It looks like some posts are geared towards investors who have not done their due diligence and has no knowledge what is happening. I could ignore negative posts but as I said before - ...more
