..kinda wondering how you came up with your self-proclaimed "think big" title because IMO you're obviously not thinking big. I'm an Albertan, one of many who have supported many eastern provinces for MANY years with billions upon billions of transfer payments. Now the ungrateful lot want to toss Alberta under the bus in the name of 'green energy'. Well, anybody that has half a brain knows you can't simply flip a switch and it happens. But you seem to think it's that easy, and while it's happening you're happy to continue collecting transfer payments from what is quickly becoming one of Canada's poorest provinces. Shame on you. You are scum of the earth IMO. The oil sands have made tremendous changes over recent years to improve their environmental performance, yet you and many others have 'taken the kool-aid' of the radical movement that blindly calls the oil sands the worst polluter and thinks the world can change to green energy overnight. Very provincial thinking since you don't for a second consider the almost non relevant impact Canada would make overall in the world when the worst polluters (Russia, China, etc, etc, etc,) continue to generate massive GHG's. I choose not to read your drivel anymore and instead choose to drop you solidly into my IGGY box. Not sure why I waited this long!

Also tired of paying mega billions in tax breaks to big oil. + dirtiest oil in the world, getting tar sands refined is extremely polluting and then mixing it with corrosive chemicals so it can be sent through a pipeline is again dangerous for the environment and extremely polluting. Then once burned ...more

These big oil companies and their employees have paid billions in taxes for many years. This is where successive governments have got the money to dole out as subsidies for greener projects.I am all for going green but it can't happen overnight. If we shut down Alberta, then we have to import foreign oil at higher costs monetarily and to the environment.or do you want to walk, ride bicycles or go ...more

Pollute to become green? Very logical. Canada's tar sands are an ecological disaster and we are the laughingstock of the world. Canada has zero credibility on the environment front. The federal gov subsidies in the billions to big oil + buying pipelines for big oil is stupid and very short sighted. Alberta is burning and drying out bc of this. Not too late to get out of dirty oil and invest in ...more

What has this to do with PYR.  Take your politics to twitter and keep it off this board.

The greening of the world is what PYR and HPQ are all about. Invest in dirty oil if you don't agree.
