Interesting Post on PYR's $9.2 Million PFAS System Contract

Interesting and informative post from ceo.ca on PyroGenesis Selected to Provide $9.2 Million Land-Based System to Destroy PFAS; An Emerging Hazardous Waste Stream.  Thanks to @PenKerGof (from ceo.ca) for this:

@PenKerGof Ok so not sure if this was posted anywhere before or not but I was doing some digging and I came across this: https://www.easton.ma.us/departments/dpw/water_division/pfas_information.php "The Easton Water Division is providing this Public Information because of a PFAS6 detection in our drinking water that exceeds the Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) under recently established Massachusetts DEP regulations." So this is town is Easton, Massachusetts. If you look through this page towards the bottom you see this paragraph: "In May of 2021, Town Meeting approved capital funding of $9.2 million for the final design and construction of PFAS treatment filter plants. The funds for these treatment plants will have an impact on future water rates, which will be increased by the Water Commissioners/Select Board to fund the construction of the PFAS treatment plants. It is expected that the Water Division will complete the design and construction of these PFAS treatment plants in approximately 18 months." https://cdn-ceo-ca.s3.amazonaws.com/1go6fod-2021-11-03%2022_00_55-Welcome%20to%20Easton%2C%20MA.jpg+ If this was already posted, then my apologies for the repetitiveness :)

Also note this line from PyroGenesis’s press release: "PyroGenesis is currently pursuing two additional opportunities within the same State in the USA."

Amazing catch from PENKERGOF. It fits 3 things: - the PFAS issue - the exact amount (9.2M$) in PYR's news release - the timeframe estimate (approx. 6 months (less than a year)) mentioned by Peter in yesterday's Q&A And by the way, thanks to PurpleTurtle on CEO.CA, once again in Massachusetts, there's another PFAS issue: Nov. 3, 2021:   DPH warns of PFAS-contaminated ...more

This is interesting.  I'm wondering also then is the $9.2 million in PYR's news release Canadian dollars or US dollars?

Clearly, this PFAS market is gonna be absolutely huge, as all US States are now taking this seriously.
