An interesting post from Facebook (thanks to the poster on FB for this): PyroGenesis is waiting for a 1850 kg copper rods shipment (see the link below).

There are many many uses for copper rods, but I took a look in the plasma torch patent description, and we can see that there are many parts made of copper. It's pure speculation, but just interesting to think it could be related to plasma torches production.

Patent description : - A cathode base machined out for instance of a non-conducting high temperature polymer is mounted, e.g. with bolts, to the torch housing. A cathode holder fabricated from a copper rod - An ignition tube fabricated out of any conductive metal, such as brass or copper
- The anode assembly comprising the tubular anode, fabricated out of copper
- three torch electrodes namely, a conical cathode, machined from a rod of electron emitting material this rod typically being embedded in vacuum cast copper, a tubular ignition electrode, typically machined from copper, and a tubular anode, typically machined from copper;

Big orders of plasma torches are in the works and this is validated by Peter  during Q & A video that client A and B are Vale and Rio Tinto. 1850 kg of copper will build a hell of a lot of torches. Get in  frame of mind to become filthy rich of you have an interesting position in PYR. BTW if not the case you might do just as good but a bit of a longer time frame you would be wise to

Posted by @Hilbertk They are a plasma torch company all their tech uses torches. All those torches use copper rods. The rods are for torches. That is all.
