Hooray. All we need is a transmission line and a substation at Lab city for IOC to go all-in on torches for all 6 lines, 120 in all. The money is now there for the electrical stuff. When will IOC be ready to receive the 4 torches ? Anyone know ?

Anyone care to explain why none at sept ille? No power issues there. Then again why isnt the drosrite used at Saguenay vs Spectre as Drosrite is supposed to be massively cheaper to operate.

At the very least, a transmission line will need an environmental impact study..

Environmental studies/reports are almost always done prior to financing commitments. Looking good. Long and strong PYR!!

As I recall that was taken care of by Alderon. I believe that they had already obtained a right of way and were planning to start cutting trees. That should show up in CIA's study which is underway.

It appears that significant upgrades in the Labrador City have been an ongoing thing. https://nalcorenergy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/NewsRelease_LabCityUpgrades_07.14.2011.pdf

Nice find, thanks for posting. I doubt that they foresaw 120 plasma torches though.

So you think that a hydro dam has large carbon footprint ? Gee maybe we could put plasma torches in the hydro dams to reduce the diesel they burn.
