Is day trading a good idea? Day trading is not worth it for the vast majority of day traders. Anecdotally, it's been widely estimated that 95% of day traders ultimately lose money, and it's been empirically demonstrated that about the same percentage of unprofitable day traders continues despite losing money.8 mars 2022

I beleive day traders have a gambling addiction. They are hooked on the Rollercoaster emotions

I thought of day trading before but the cons out weighed the pros for me, I thought to myself why would I take the headache of day trading when one good long term investment can make me much more money in the end compared to day trading for a little profit (If I even do end up making profit)? My goals are to be a long term investor making life changing money. Not working a second job by being a ...more

Sure it is, personally I maxed out my TFSA and invested out of that. Pretty sure you can't day trade out of your TFSA account or can you? Lol anyways I'd rather not deal with taxes and stuff when it comes to day trading but again to each their own!

If it stay in your TFSA portefollios it is not a problem, you may do whatever you want inside the portefolios as long as you don<t transfer into RRSP or non-register or cash out of the portefollios there is no taxes involvement. Same goes inside the RRSP
