I once drove from Vancouver to Tulum and return. Via San Francisco, Tampico and Veracruz. This was a long drive also. With my french girlfriend who had no driver license. At that time the unleaded gas was not available everywhere. I had to put leaded once. It took months for my engine to get over it :-)

When I first drove to the Baja many years ago you had to put octane booster in your tank to stop the pinging in the engine. There was only regular gas and Nova which in Mexican means no go....lol.

Hey Uncle somebody piss in your cornflakes? In 1987 on my first Drive down the peninsula Nova was not a new gas it had less octane than the regular 87 and that was questionable. Even the mexicans joked tha nova meant no go...just saying know it all....Geezz you really are a piece of work aren't you?

The Pinto is worse , In Brazil it is actually slang for man with tiny d*ck In America, a pinto is a type of horse, but in Brazil 'pinto' is slang for male reproductive parts. As you can imagine, the car did not sell well, forcing Ford to rebrand it to Corcel, which means horse in Brazil

Seeing as you want to get pissy about it, you don't use $ (dollar sign) when listing a price in pesos. Have you ever actually been anywhere other than backwoods Western Canada? (Not that theres anything wrong with Western Canada)
