Interesting post about a startup, Hiiroc which Cemex has invested in and is testing at their plant in the the Dominican Republic. Hiiroc uses plasma torch technology to convert natural gas into hydrogen. Can Pyrogenisis torches be adapted to convert natural gas into hydrogen and could this be the reason for the torch rollout delay?

Good question Teakguy, HiiROC  ( British Co)  proposed  process is a variant of what is called Methane Pyrolysis, where you break down  one CH4 molecule into 2 hydrogene molecules and solid carbon.  This is the dream of many chemists, and many co have worked on this, and many are still trying. essentially, using 3 techniques: Plasma, Thermal and Catalytic methane

This would be hydrogen burned directly in the furnaces .  This is further nail in the pyro  torches in the furnace  story.  And as Pyro fans constantly state....PATENTS... works both ways
