Nice picture

Have a look at Sam Houston's (Rio Tinto) profile on Linkedin, it includes a picture of the team working on the plasma burner trial at IOC.

Great find vestmed, thanks for this. I have been following the Rio Tinto/IOC process, this is excellent. And coupled with year recent news regarding the power supply "up and running" is excellent for PyroGenesis/Rio/IOC. Long and Strong in PyroGenesis!

The IOC and Rio Tinto Plasma Burner trial in Labrador City is an excellent project, and I am proud to be involved. We’re trialling a plasma burner in one of our furnaces – the first of its kind, which could help us eliminate heavy fuel oil (bunker-C) from the pelletizing process.” These three ...more

Boy! that Tamarackflop will look like a clown when Rio Tinto confirms that this SAT (site acceptance tests) is satisfying and decides to go ahead with 130 more torches to replace the whole legacy technology with PYR torches. It was obvious that all those FUDsters were here to try to get your shares on the cheap as this will succeed.  Funny how those craps like Raphaelle2, Filoux04, etc ... ...more

130 torches is nothing to sneeze at, but I doubt that's enough for the labrador plant...Most likely,  Rio Tinto will use the 130 torches to familiarize their technicians with installing torches.... 55 torches per furnace was mentioned previously ?...If Rio Tinto falls in love with the torches they will commit to  replacing the old one's at all their plants...They want to be in ...more
