RioTinto/IOC’s new torch orders is imminent

Below, this was as of March 7, 2023 confirming the SAT (Site Acceptance Test) was for real.

In April, PYR engineers were on site at Labrador City.

In May, a RIOTINTO's VP was posting a picture of his electricians on-site and was enthusiastic about this new technology.

Shorts will soon get caught their pants down having to run and will stumble.  And Tamarackflop will look like an incompetent amateure clown!

« … Approximately 75% of IOC's current GHG emissions come from pelletizing. In the shorter term, IOC is looking at ways to electrify its sources of heat to reduce emissions. This includes the introduction of the new electric boiler referred to above and the commencement of the pilot project to test the use of four new plasma torches in the pellet plant.

Rio Tinto's approach to addressing Scope 3 emissions is to engage with its customers on climate change and work with them to develop the technologies to decarbonize. … «

...new torch order is eminent you say ? Is that so ? Then you are informed that the results of the pilot project were successful ? Are you sure that you are not confusing a simple SAT result ( specific to the equipment) with the process performance/  product qualifications pilot testing program? Could you be more specific? Tks. By the way SFirst, if new orders are eminent  as you  believe...you should tell this to PYR mgt. Because Mellon trust and others  risk  looking like stupid for selling too early... Remember the WB No 1 rule : buy low...sell high ! Too bad for them! GLTA

Are you sure about this TBig69? "ecause the Plan is designed to avoid any legitimate accusations of insider trading it might be reasonable to think that Pascali is expecting to be able to release news at some point that will psitively affect the share price ???" If this is realty, then why the selling urgency? But But...may be its the other way around ?  What would be the lack of ...more

Raphaelle2... You sound like a nervous insecure suddenly. Given your basher agenda for months, do you really think I would provide you with more precise info?  Lolll I thought PYR would never succeed as per your FUD posts! Indeed SFirst I am getting nervous. But frankly, not for myself! ( Only a naive junior will waste his time shorting  depressed cats and dogs ). I am think about confused other SH, trying to understand RioT recent statements about their 2023 technology options: "Additionally, the direct reduction of high-grade iron ore pellets (such as those produced by IOC) is already an available ...more

Raphaelle2 ... It shows you don't understand what you're posting about.  And it's interesting that PYR recently debunked your arguments on natural gas (which still emits CO2). Are you telling us that Rio Tinto ordered plasma torches because they had nothing else to do?   Electricity is on site at IOC.  Don't worry. __________   raphaelle2 -  ...more

Because they dont have Nat Gas. Cannot say more for now. GLTA

Raphaelle2 ... What you're telling us is that if they had natural gas on site, they would favor natural gas over electricity? Lollll So you're telling us that natural gas (over electricity) is the best way for them to reduce their GHG??? Lolll Poor manipulator.

It's cleat that you have absolutely no idea what is going on in the steel industry today. Enough wasted time. Ignorance is bliss indeed! GLTA the others.

Raphaelle2... So you assume then that the VP at RioTinto doesn't know what they're talking about as they're the ones that ordered these torches. Our little manipulator Raphaelle2 is alluding that RioTinto doesn't know what it's doing! Lolll Poor short!   Sept. 2021 PyroGenesis is pleased to announce today, further to its Q2 2021 press release dated August 16th (Outlook section), that it has received an order to supply four (4) high powered plasma torches together with ancillary equipment to a client (“Client B”) ...more
