Pretty Scary Cash Burn.

I have had time to review the June 30 financial statements of PYR. They paint a pretty bleak picture. Let's start with the cash position. PYR had cash of $1,887,021 at the beginning of the quarter (April 1st) and ended the quarter (June 30) with $829,583. That is in spite of 1- raising $5 million in equity, 2- selling $332,000 worth of $HPQ shares and 3- receiving $153,000 in options exercise. That is a total of $5,485,000 in the quarter. Still the cash in the quarter went down by $1,057,438. That is use of cash of $4,427,562 in the quarter, or $1,474,884 per month (or $49,195 per day).

You keep talking about unstainable cash burn rate.  In the history of PyroGenesis...they have never had issue dealing with their cash flow.   Now why would they cease parts of their operations when they are commercializing they tech and engineering...they have been expanding!!!! The CEO obviously knows more than you constant FUD basher. Long and strong   PYROGENESIS!!!

Commenting on financial statements is FUD? I guess the financials are FUD by definition then. Pretty ugly indeed

A subject labeled 'pretty scary cash burn' is both accurate and, with the lack of context, FUD.
Comment by MrForthright on Aug 14, 2023 7:03pm
The context is: the most recent financial statements of the company.
Comment by Sidewindergo on Aug 14, 2023 8:12pm
Actual Context: 1. Relatively low debt 2. Strategic investment value increasing  3. Rich CEO who owns over 45% of the company and has invested another $4.5 million in 2023. Yes the cash burn and finances are scary. But there are even more reasons to be excited. If you only focus on the finances Pyro looks terrible, but looking at the whole picture creates a different story. Definition of ...more

The guy sells to retail investors and reinvests. Why? Why was the debt financing a bust? Why? We all know why.
Comment by developbc on Aug 14, 2023 9:53pm
The CEO reinvests his cash..obviously knows more than you constant FUD basher.   FUDsters hard at work posting misleading posts.  Over and over Melon Trust is an orderly disposition announced sale under ADSP rules ...most like for estate planning purposes.  CEO still owns close to 50% of all outstanding shares!!    Long and strong PYROGENESIS!!!

The context is in the financial reports. Does anyone here read them? They're a horror story.
