@pennytodollar There is a poster here who has a history of registering non-profits to rally shareholders into class actions against companies. I dont want to see the company destroyed for cents per shareholder when they would make much more money waiting for contracts.

@pennytodollar It can lead to class actions not being allowed to move forward when lawyers solicit class action plaintiffs without the action being initiated by a shareholder first. Not sure how it works with volunteers who advocate on behalf of shareholders to establish class actions. I guess they would have to prove they are at greater than arms length from the firm they eventually hire?

@pennytodollar No, and hopefully there won't be. I just find it odd that someone who follows AMF judgements and registers "shareholder advocacy non-profits" that lead to class actions has arrived on our board.

@pennytodollar It looks bad for law firms to solicit clients, but a "concerned volunteer" kind of gets around that
