Rational thinking is good

Think about this for three minutes.

Everybody but Holdrrr and Thinkbig, please think about this.

Holdrrr and Thinkbig are probably busy looking up new words anyway.

If they aren't, they should be.

When Pyrogenesis announced their $5 million financing on June 22, they managed to raise $3.03 million.

The public subscribed to $1,030,000 of that issue.

That offering took a month to close.

The subscribers have been locked in since then.

Meanwhile, the trust has sold 815,400 shares in the market, some for as litle as fifty two cents.

The buyers of that issue will be able to sell for the very first time tomorrow.

Do you think some of them will sell?

Of course some will, they can't be impressed.

I expect there will be an additional few hundred thousand shares added to supply over the coming days and weeks.

Some could sell. If they took part it's probably because they believe they will make some money in the future. Not much has changed since then, any serious investor looking to take part in that would have done their DD and known about the AMF investigation and risks involved with that. It's been known for a long enough time by now. Nobody knows what anyone else will do with their shares ...more

Who says those people won't do the same? Who says they will sell? Nobody knows but themselves. I don't really understand the point of this conversation, but I chose to entertain it ...more

Did you know about the AMF investigation before June? I know I did as many others on here too. You'd be stupid to not see the risks involved with that prior to the company elaborating. But sure

True. But I'd guess that many buyers of that issue weren't quite as informed as you'd think. You'd be surprised how many people buy stocks with little or no diligence.  People sometimes buy because of a "tip" they heard at a cocktail party.

May be but I can't see uninformed people buying here. The sentiment the last few years has been negative. Unless you do DD and believe some of their technology will be adopted eventually, you might jump in despite the risks. All comes back to the company will have to deliver some bigger candies eventually to turn the tides around. Money talks eventually. Can't live off of promise. I'm ...more
