Factual Summary of PYR

With all the banter back and forth lets review the facts of the company

The  current facts:

  1. Delisting: “PyroGenesis Canada (TSX:PYR) has delisted from the  Nasdaq caused by “a failure to maintain a minimum US$1 share price”
  2. , Declining revenues, lack of profitability, risks of running out of working capital and liquidity issues. MRQ  posting net income of -C$6.35 million in Q2 2023
  3. Allegations of fraud by Quebec, regulators, and ongoing sales by the trust don’t help.

A direct assessment of the facts does not suggest a positive course, coupled with negative momentum as the stock trades at a multi year low

  1. Contracts Announced but issues collecting payment

In the companies words:

“As at June 30, 2023 the allowance for expected credit loss on trade accounts receivable is $5,967,840 ($4,693,283 as at December 31, 2022). The amount as at June 30, 2023, includes $5,061,000 attributable to one specific customer, whereby the carrying amount has been reduced from $10,536,701 to $5,475,701. “

And general from SEDAR

“The Company has incurred, in the last years, operating losses and negative cash flows from operations, and as a result, the Company has an accumulated deficit of $105,872,203 as at June 30, 2023, ($93,384,858 as at December 31, 2022). Furthermore, there have been unexpected delays in the collection of certain accounts receivable from contracts closed in a prior year. This has resulted in a shortfall in cash flows from operating activities that would be used in funding the Company’s operations. As  at  June  30,  2023,  the  Company  has  working  capital  deficiency  of  $3,168,366  ($1,650,709  as  at December  31,  2022) including  cash  of  $829,583  ($3,445,649  as  at  December  31,  2022).  The  working  capital  is  net  of  an  allowance  for  credit losses  amounting  to  $6,303,840  ($5,023,283  as  at  December  31,  2022)  as  further  described  in  Notes  6  and  7.  The Company’s business plan is dependent upon the successful completion of contracts and also the receipt of payments from certain  contracts  closed  in  a  prior  year  and  expects  these  payments  to  be  made  during  fiscal  2023,  as  well  as  the achievement of profitable operations through the signing, completion and delivery of additional contracts or a reduction in certain  operating  expenses.  In  the  absence  of  this,  the  Company  is  dependent  upon  raising  additional  funds  to  finance operations within and beyond the next twelve months.”

So these are the verified data that steer me away from making an investment. Like I said I only came here when science first promoted this on another board, So, what is the bull case, For those so motivated can you list why this remains on your list, using actual data? Trying to have intelligant analysis of the companies, and get away from these ad hominem attacks. Lets be constructive and ...more

What about the Christmas bonuses for the leadership team?  How will they handle it?

ThinkBig, this is an excellent summary.  Pumpers, much smarter than yourself, brought the company to some of our attention.  3P sealed the deal at least for me and I got torched.  And here we are today, you thinking you are holding the fort or whatever personaln gains you make from massive amounts of post having issues with FUD - Facts that raise Uncertainty and Doubt. You cannot ...more

You have no shares or interest in this stock and yet continue to bash it. That is way more bizarre. I wonder what would be your reaction if I bashed your own stocks persistantly like you do here. Leave us longs in this play decide for ourselves and mind your own business. Simple enough?
Comment by Mostlyserious on Dec 12, 2023 8:09am
I have shares, I lost money. And even if I didn't I am allowed to discuss anything I want on any public forum.  The fact that I do so respectfully and using facts is the massive difference between the two of us.  And I do believe that you are a scammer by being so persistent in posting lies. Of course, you know all this, and it does not change your agenda.

Living in the past and spiteful? I pity you.waisting your time here bashing.

Pumpers have no integrity, especially when not acknowledging facts that inject a high degree of investment risk. You make me post here much more than I otherwise would. Good job in soliciting facts that don't suit your purpose!  Of course, the market doesn't listen to this sorry social forum or any other, so you are some mild occassionally entertainment for me.  Later.

You're absolutely right about not having so much inclination to post were it not for the mountains of posts here from a few select posters. Ignore them, like I have, and you'll see what I mean.

Maybe just consider it a write off?  Is that your input?
Comment by panapple42 on Dec 12, 2023 8:46am
I am already down almost 20 percent on this in just over a week.  Explain that?
Comment by sumpineh on Dec 12, 2023 9:36am
I can not imagine why you would have bought this stock a week ago. What did you see or hear that no one else did? Take your loss and sell before it goes even lower.IF they ever turn it around you will have lots of opportunity to get back in.You are not the first investor to make this type of mistake and you won't be the last. Hey Sumpineh.  Could be you misinterpreted that. He said he's "down 20% in a week". That doesn't necessarily mean he bought it a week ago. Splitting hairs? Maybe, but it's a valid point.

I did buy it a week ago.  First time ever.  Rolling the dice.  Nothing more.   Luckily a teeny tiny position.
Comment by sumpineh on Dec 12, 2023 10:25am
It was the word already (down 20% in a week) that made me think that it was a recent purchase. Again, splitting hairs

Amateurs. Daytraders. LOL

Don't know the facts needed to interpret the accounting standards properly. Elements disclosed about the whole thing so far just don't rationally compute to me.  Maybe someone else can explain the things I noted as finding confusing, including if my understanding of facts is incorrect.  I know it ain't gonna be ThinkBig!  LOL!
Comment by tamaracktop on Dec 12, 2023 8:19am
Forget Thinkbig. What an idle threat. Thinkbig couldn't bash his way out of a wet paper bag.
Comment by Thinkbigsti69 on Dec 12, 2023 8:25am
You are right about that Tamyflop. i do not bash other investors stocks like you and Mostlybashing. Bashers have zero integrity.

...you think you and our investment in pyr that has lost now more then 90% somehow doesn't deserve criticism???  ...oh...you will say as always ...it's 'FUD' ad nauseam. I agree with you that the likes of tammy and dalesio that that is their job......but do you really think FUD is what has been holding your investment back?
