Great point from @Namazon on PyroGenesis' NexGen Plasma Atomization System: @Namazon It's a very slick addition to the plasma atomization process they originally invented. No wonder they call it NexGen. The use of an induction coil to essentially melt the titanium (or whatever metal) just prior to being blasted by the plasma into micron spheres. The commercialization and entrance in the market recently announced, is that the "small order" discussed in the September 19 news release? I may not look at this the right way, but this patent is for the way that the powder is produced.  I would think that a client would only care about the quality of the product and a price point compared to those of others selling the same thing.

And keep in mind that PyroGenesis' NexGen Plasma Atomization System encompasses a 2-wire feed (previous systems had a 1-wire feed) and NexGen electrically charges the wire prior to it entering the reactor.  PYR has some very impressive technology.
