RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Tamyflop is barking to the moon

Just think.

If you had to recoup $ 7000 worth of losses, and if you averaged a $10 gain or loss on every trade, and if you made money on 70% of your trades, you'd only have to make 171,000 trades to get your money back.

That doesn't seem a good plan."

An honest mistake.

I did that in my head.

If you met those parameters, you would have to make 17,280 trades to recoup $7,000, not 171,000.

still not a good plan

What if you bought $7000 at .40 and sold at .61. Quick trade. Recoup pretty quick.
Comment by tamaracktop on May 07, 2024 8:49pm
I would say that would have been a great trade.
Comment by Holdrrrr on May 07, 2024 8:49pm
Today I sold 200 shares of pyr.  Ones I bought at 48 cents.  I sold at 61 cents.  That's $26 easy peasy.   And I'm proud of it.  And if she falls to 50 cent range I'll buy them right back. I have more than enough in my TFSA core position, I flip on my other account. So eat your heart out bashers, I get paid about $1 everytime Tammy presses " ...more

I genuinely hope you are kidding. if you are not, then it would help explain why you don't pay much attention to certain things or easily dismiss them.

Scalping for gains is bad?  It explains why you are clueless about most things.  Here let me help you. Buy low.  Sell higher.  You can start there. The amount of shares is completely irrelevant.  Gains are gains.  Period.
Comment by Holdrrrr on May 08, 2024 8:57am
Do you think the banks bots care?  They sell 1 share at a time if it's the right way to GAIN.  You know more about stock trading than banks now pal?  Didn't think so.  LMAO clueless Hey guys I didn't trade a million shares at a time, but I make consistent gains, on very low risk.  Apparently I'm not allowed in the cool bashers club now :(. Sigh if only ...more

You are fortunate to get a 50% return on a stock in a relatively short amount of time (weeks to a couple of months) and you are happy to pocket $26 profit off of that, while spending hours on this board. For that kind of profit, I think you should consider whether finding some easy part-time job paying minimum wage could be more satisfying.  You know, interacting with people, knowing you are ...more

Holdrrrr, What?! You stated your ACB is 67 cents. Good luck to All!
Comment by paul03 on May 08, 2024 3:38pm
It wouldn't be a stretch to believe he has 2 accounts. One for trading and one for long term hold. Perhaps a TFSA for long term plays and a trading account for his day to day chaos. Just a guess from my part.
Comment by dalesio_98 on May 08, 2024 3:43pm
Holdrrrr, Could have as many accounts as he wants at different institutions at different purchase price. When he states his ACB is 67 cents, enough said. Good luck to all!

Different wording should've been used on their end I get it.
Comment by Holdrrrr on May 08, 2024 4:06pm
Yes I use two accounts.  One for my main holdings, dividend payers etc. The other for scalping off the whales meals lol Keeps things organized.

For a group of people who put so much time and effort "saving us" from our pyr investment.  My successful trading sure riled them up lmfao. You would think a single one of them would say "hey that's pretty good" but no no.  The pitchforks come out LOL They are just here to "save us" from losing money, but us making money also upsets them.  Bashers ...more

Your "successful trading" for $10 here or $2 there is a load of H.S. Holdrrr. Anyone here with any experience at all and half a brain knows it.

He knows everything until he gets called out, then it's crickets.  If he does reply, he will just deflect to something else. Anyway tamyflop, I just went through my pyr trades, I bought pyr in various sized lots 23 times when it was under 45 cents lmao While you were busy running your keyboard.  Thank God I don't believe one single word you say, because I KNOW your exact ...more

Okay then.  Now I understand . When you've bought stock at $5 00, and $3.75 and $1.00 and at $0.38, the next stocks you sell are the ones you bought at $0.38. Very creative accounting.
