Why ? Other than a buyout?
Anyone else think that there is a possible buyout of HPQ FUME SILICA buyout by a legacy giant. I've sort of thought if PYR suddenly took the 50% stake it would be ahead of an outright purchase by a legacy company that wanted the proven technology. I'm only speculating but does anyone else agree with this theory?

Bernard has often mentionned a potential buyout by an industrial giant in his agoracom interviews. This move also mitigates future financing risks and eliminates a prospective obstacle in our ongoing discussions with potential partners in the development of the fumed silica business," said Bernard Tourillon, President, and CEO of HPQ Silicon and HPQ Silica Polvere.

Consider the fact that there is probably an up front chunk of change coming from the JV partner with HPQ . Pyro will build the new machines and rather than wait around to get 10% production royalty,HPQ/PYR will split the upfront money from the HPQ JV and PYR gets profit from building FSRs AND 50% of future production profits. Why not? GLTA

interesting indeed. They could sign licensing agreements with all the big legacy producers I suppose. The legacy producers buy the reactors from PYR as well as parts and maintenance and then Polvere makes a percentage of the profits of the fume silica sales.
