Let's hear the expectations

of Q2 revenue from some of the posters who like to make grand predictions.Since the company does not provide guidance it is a bit like pin the tail on the donkey. Why not turn it into a contest for braggers rights.I am not an expert but I don't mind making a guess.Come on pumpers and step up.My guess is 3.2M.GLTA

Today it is all about a $120-$160 million contract...at least a year from now.....maybe.  Reminds me of the torches a few years ago.  That was exciting.

Remember how we followed the journey of that test torch through multiple NRs? Was it ever in use?

So not one of the pumpers who foresee these huge future contracts felt knowledgeable enough to venture a prediction for Q2 revenue. How do you expect to attract new investors here if you have no clue as to quarterly revenue. If you don't know the history, how can you be so confident in the future. It is very difficult to take the pumpers seriously when they are afraid to show their expertise in ...more

I think you may be confusing Pyro for a megacap stock where estimates are made by analysts and aret critical to share price.  It's been explained on this board too many times that given Pyro's existing state in relation to its strategic planning that estimating a quarter isn't the point.  The focus of next week's information will continue to be Pyro's initiatives and ...more

I didn't ask for a song and dance.Just give a guess on what their revenue in the last quarter was. You either are afraid of appearing ignorant or you don't want any new investor to shy away because of pie in the sky dreams that are not justified because of poor execution for a succession of previous quarters. Also which analysts are you talking about as I have yet to see an institution that ...more

You didn't get a song and dance.  What's the point of guessing at revenue of Q2?  Any decision to buy Pyro, at this point, is not based on what the Q2 revenue is going to be.  Simple as that.  Long investors (not shorters) are assessing potential.  Based on the NRs of the last year or so, the potential is huge.  I don't agree that there has been poor ...more

A great visual of PyroGenesis' solutions.  A number of these solutions have been commercialized during the past couple of years:

Bingo, and thank you.  Dealing with the ill informed negativity is painful

You can't possibly be serious BCONT.  How many times have you posted that thing? You can post it until the cows come home, but it won't make an iota of difference.  I'll be posting my own estimates by the end of the weekend.  They've always been within a couple hundred thousand at the most, but this time I hope to be within 500k across the board.  Revenues, ...more

And a great post/visualization from @ToolmanTim: @ToolmanTim Long weekend is here and as we roll into it I'd like to share a picture of a project I started last weekend to simply try to get my head around, organize, and categorize all that is $PYR and $HPQ While this is still VERY much just a beginning and a "work in progress", below is just a simple screen capture of what I ...more

The point of guessing would be to show that you have a good handle on their sales activity and are not just riding Uncle cons $100 predictions. If not for poor execution how do you explain the decline of revenue quarter after quarter since 2021.Please enlighten everyone.I will at least give you credit for answering my post. That is more than the rest of the pumpers.
Comment by Melida on Aug 02, 2024 7:09pm
That would not be the point of guessing.  There is no point in guessing.  I've never predicted a share price target for Pyro.   The decline in revenue has been caused by a few things.  Covid just to name one.  I go back to what Pyro is selling:  very expensive cutting edge technology.  This requires a long sales cycle.  They aren't selling ...more

Great post Melida, thanks for this.  Have a great long weekend everybody!

Personally, a company with limited resourcing playing with a couple of dozen different products and applications does not indicate great strategizing.  More like a shotgun approach to see what sticks.  Having a few commercially proven technologies and seeing declining revenues is not a kind of pattern that I would expect from a well executing company. R&D companies work on market ...more

There isn't a single analyst at any reputable firm that covers this stock.  Not one. The reason for that doesn't escape me.
