Someone needs new reading glasses

The first stage consists of a conceptual and preliminary design phase for approximately $2 million (€1.3 million) which commences in Q3 2024 and is scheduled to last no more than one year. The purpose of the design phase is to confirm, and more precisely determine, the order of magnitude cost estimate of the system’s construction, which shall range between $120-160 million (€80-105 million) ...."

Hahaha.

The capital cost of this hypothetical "project" isn't going to PyroGenesis.

$2 million is.

Here's a question.

Why will it take a year for PyroGenesis to complete "Stage One"?

Haven't they been doing this for many years?

Read the press release.

They're talking about $2 million to do something in the next year to do something very basic that they've already claimed for years they're expert at.

A "feasibility study"?

Really??????

U do indeed raise a Valid Concern - Why 1-Year ? --U also say "Read the Press Release" ! The NR/,PR says "is scheduled to last no more than one year." Plausible Interpretation & Assuming Answers:: #1) Has this ever been done Before ? -- seems to me Pyro will be the 1at To Write The Book & Accomplish ! #2). My Interpretation::  They have up to 1-Yr to Complete ! ...more

Doing design and feasibility studies before entering into a major contract is being done all the time. It is currently envisioned that it may take up to a year.  These are estimates, but you won't see recognition of the full contract revenue when the study begins.  That is not how accounting works and while you may not care, I am just correcting a fundamentally wrong assumption.
