Revenue is vanity, profit is sanity, but cash is king.

Just checking in and  I am reading that many are justifying the deteriorating financials,  indicating that  this is a small company that’s growing, and that in such cases, it’s OK not to have profit. It was even mentioned, but that was a situation for companies like Amazon And Tesla.

Wow. Pyr compared to AMZN?

OK I’ll bite.

Amazon went public in 1997 and in the first 10myears to 2006, Amazon's revenue grew from approximately $147.8 million to $10.7 billion- CAGR of about 55.2% over that period.

Tesla went public in 2010, and in the first 10 years to 2019, Tesla's revenue increased from approximately $117 million to $24.6 billion,  a CAGR of about 87.2% over that decade.

PyroG reported revenues of approximately  4.6 million in 2011 and 12.35 million in 2023 so revenue grew at an average annual rate of approximately 9.5% from 2011 to 2023, if you take just those two time points.

In reality, there has not been consistent revenues, and that’s been part of the problem, the revenues, though have been lumpy, and there have been years where it has been less than the first year.

Now, I will fully acknowledge that while revenue growth is important for smaller or growing companies looking to expand their market share), and Companies like Amazon had massive cash flow and were reinvesting those into the company building out warehouses, expand their market- they were true  marvels and life changing for any of us that got into them.

But here's the bad news-there is no fair comparison here with Pyr-the business operations, they have been poor, growing accounts receivable, running deficits, needing funding to survive...

in the end, sustainable profitability and cash flow management are ultimately critical for long-term survival.

No cash, no produce big torches, no survive.

or like I said above cash is King.

Now, what do we have 38K in the bank? as I mentioned, I’m sure getting some more debentures, trying to get some more loans, etc. etc. they’ll keep a float for a while, but at some point, this can’t be sustainable.

Then again, just for education, not to invest with, don't trust what you read on these boards, do your own research, after all, that's what this is, just another opinion, just for fun, have a great weekend everyone
