19 board Meetings in one year?
At $2000 per diem per director, that adds up.
Times 8 directors times 19 meetings that's $304,000 annually, not even counting their "salaries".
Considering the company's performance and the stock's performance, I suggest they cut back on the board meetings.
Clearly they've been somewhat ineffectual.

Section 173 of the Canadian Business Corporation Act: "After the first meeting, a minimum of 4 meetings of the Board of Directors need to be held in a year. The Section further states that the meeting is to be held in such a manner that there should not be a gap of more than 120 days between the two consecutive meetings of the Board."
