It's true that sometimes the phrases commonly used in brokerage are deceptively positive.  "Harvesting" losses is a perfect example.  The word "harvesting" is usually associated with a festive time of year. "Correction" is another example. Client to broker: "I'm already down 25%!" Broker: "It's okay. Everything is good. It' ...more
