ETF WTF

This is a scam.

Bitcoin reaches all time high and this thing barely moves but if it dips a little then all the gains are gone. This is garbage.

Well it's not an ETF... it's a closed ended fund. I do agree it's silly the pull back right now given there is very little of not zero premium anymore. The pull back refelects weak hands in a holder of QBTC that wants out at any price... fine by me. I just used this pullback to buy more.

Most Retail can't handle the volatility in bitcoin. Embrace it and you have won massively with bitcoin over any reasonable holding period and will very likely continue to do so. Use irrational dips to add. Every time I try and trade btc I get crushed. Just hodl

I would agree. You'll probably lose 10% a month relative to the moves in Bitcoin. Riot is probably the better play on Bitcoin.

Lol Well I hope it does... We can buy it for that 10% discount and redeem for bitcoin at NAV

I'm glad I sold this ETF earlier in the week and bought Riot instead as my Bitcoin play. Can't compare a 31% gain to a 5% gain in one day! ;)  Just imagine when Bitcoin hits 100k. Then compare the two again. I bet Riot will be miles ahead. Just sayin'...

I don't want to own a minor. I think they are aweful business models. Zero barriers to entry and constantly having to upgrade their quickly outdated mining hardware to compete with other minors for a finite and shrinking supply of bitcoin (bitcoin halving a every 4 years). Now that's not to say you can't trade them and make lots of money but you need to time it perfectly. Anyways good ...more
