ISFCA wrote "Undervalued. Took a position." Maybe you should have bought the IPO and than sold. You would have been up 30% rather than down 30%. What a fool.

Iscfa wrote "I didn't buy at $26, moron. " So I assume you bought at 25.99. Best to buy the IPO.  Just sayin. To buy the first day of an IPO is foolish as those that bought the IPO sell to take profits and those that didn't buy the IPO desperate to want in inflat the S/P. (like you) After a day or two, the selling pressure causes the S/P to decline. I am sure you knew that ...more

Next time ISFCA , on a new IPO,  leave emotion out of it and be patient/wait. don't buy the first day of the IPO. The S/P will come to you and save you a ton of money. I'm aware of the risks of IPO's. I never said I took a full position. You ease into it with tranches but as a trader dork you are ignorant to long term investing strategies.

Savvy here is the proper meaning in context - A sophisticated investor is a classification of investor indicating someone who has sufficient capital, experience and net worth to engage in more advanced types of investment opportunities.
